This is a bud-only White Tea made in the Zheng He region near Wuyishan in remote Fujian. I procured this batch on my travels this Summer.
This tea is only picked once per year in the early spring. The bud starts protruding and is quickly picked and processed by air drying for many hours and then a quick low-temp bake. This tea is very minimally processed. It's sweet, super clean and very nice. If you really like it let me know and we should be able to carry it moving forward. Due to the meticulous bud-only picking it's a bit more expensive for us to get but if you think we should carry it let us know!

Brewing:
This can get bitter if brewed too long so don't be greedy. Keep it nice and light and you'll be rewarded :) If brewing in a gaiwan, put 2-3g leaf, filtered or spring water around 175°F / 80°C. Steep for about 1-2 minutes. Easily good for a few good brews just add a bit more time with each subsequent brew.
Otherwise, you can brew it like Longjing in a tall clear glass so you can see the action.
