This is a hand-made wood-fired tea pot by Taiwanese master Mashalu, whose name means "Thank you" in her native aboriginal home language. It's not untrue to say that we searched many years to find just the right partner to deliver BTTC teas in just the right way.
I love the rugged masculinity of these teapots. Mashalu recommends these for pu-erhs and highly oxidized teas.
Mashalu specifically chose a black Laguna clay for these pots. It has nice little golden sparkles in the bright light.

Mashalu’s teapots are all one-of-a-kind. Because Mashalu’s tea pots are sold individually the reviews people leave are never seen, so I’d like to share with you some feedback. Shipping cost will be reimbursed within 7 days of receiving. Please only use water to test it. Take your time and see how it pours, how it fits in your hand, how you like it and how it makes you feel. If you choose to brew tea in it, we will not be able to accept your return as this starts the seasoning process which someone else might not appreciate.
