Ok, this tea is a raw Pu-erh that has been stored in natural conditions in Taiwan since the 1980's. That's a long time ago. It's had time to mature and you may be interested to try it. There's a catch though...
Wet stored teas have a lot of "humidity" in the nose and in the first few steeps. Meaning that it's like licking the wall of a wet basement. AND this particular tea is made with the excrement of caterpillars who chomp on the tea leaves. Of course, I wasn't there in the 1980's and can't vouch for it other than to say that it's DANK.
But here's the kicker...
I didn't even want to drink it when I first found it, in fact I didn't for several weeks until finally after grumbling a few words I resigned to try it... I'm glad I did because I was amazed. Really amazed. This tea is sooooo smooth. The taste is pleasant even and it's full of oil. I don't have a lot of it because it's pretty rare. Just pour off the first infusion and then drink on it for several more thick steeps. Good Luck and let us know what you think!
