I'm headed to Alishan Mountain tomorrow to visit a new farm in Ruifeng. Can't wait. It's no exaggeration to say it's a magical place.
This weekend I spent more time with Farmer Chen. I picked up a humble sum of 15-year aged roasted Tieguanyin he brought back from Anxi in Fujian China (the home of Tieguanyin) He also gave me some bud-only aged tea he made 20 years ago, haha. Also, he made a batch of high mountain powdered oolong. nice.
Yesterday, I spent the day with Farmer Chang. I did an interview with him I'll post it after I translate it. Got his latest crop of Honey Black Tea, highest quality! Today I'm headed to see Farmer Wen in XinZhu to talk about our super-secret "Matcha-Go!" project.
